Professional Bio:
Xiaoxing is a writer-director from China, currently based in NYC. As a kid, she loved going to theaters alone–which made no sense to her family and friends. Now, she finds her passion behind the camera. She’s driven by her interest in how relationships, death, and humanity can all intermingle in the visual medium, incorporating surrealist elements in slice-of-life scenarios. She sheds many tears, which she uses as material for her films.
