John is excited to spend his fourth year at Ballibay - his first year as a counselor. John was a CIT in the video and media department when he was a camper. John spent his years at Ballibay, in plays, camper cabarets, camera crew for performances, and in the rock program. He also directed a show that he and his cabin wrote and performed at Ballibay. John is excited to give campers the means to express themselves creatively by teaching them how to shoot and edit their own films.

Professional Bio:
John is currently attending NYU Tisch as a Drama major in the Playwrights Horizons Theatre School. John has been shooting and editing films since he was in middle school. He started taking Video production class in high school where gained a formal education in editing, story boarding, camera gear and everything in between. He won his high school's film contest. John acted in a short film that won over a dozen awards in the short film festival circuit. John is very excited to bring his experience to camp this summer.
