After joining Camp Ballibay's Music Department in 2023, Jaime looks forward to returning this summer to develop new musical theater work with campers!

Professional Bio:
JAIME JARRETT (they/he) is a Philadelphia based composer, lyricist, and librettist. They have written several musicals, but is best known for WONDER BOY, a transgender superhero musical developed at Northwestern University, National Alliance for Musical Theatre, 5th Avenue Theatre, and Musical Theatre Factory. Other work includes (YOU CAN’T) OUTRUN THE MONSTER (developed with The Ucross Foundation and Fresh Ground Pepper), NORMATIVITY (developed with The University of the Arts and New York Musical Festival), and original music for numerous plays. Their work has been performed at various venues including Playbill Pride in Times Square, Joe’s Pub at The Public Theatre, Green Room 42, and Birdland Jazz Club. Jaime is currently pursuing his MFA in Musical Theatre Collaboration at Temple University, where he also serves as an instructor and teaching assistant.
